BAYONNE
TOWN CENTER IS ABUZZ WITH HOLIDAY EXCITEMENT!
BAYONNE, NJ – November 7, 2003 - Come home for the holidays
and celebrate the beginning of the season at the annual Bayonne
Town Center Tree Lighting Ceremony on Tuesday, November 25th!
Enjoy the traditional holiday songs as performed vocally and
instrumentally by the talented students of the Bayonne schools
and the Mount Carmel “Heavenly Angels” choir.
The highlight of the evening will be Santa’s much-anticipated
arrival on a fire truck! Whether its enjoying an authentic
horse n’ buggy ride on Broadway, sharing breakfast with
Santa at McDonald’s, observing the lighting of the first
of the Hanukkah lights, or simply strolling the avenue and
enjoying the festive decorations and lights, the Town Center
will be transformed into a beautiful winter wonderland once
again.
Why not
get a head start on your holiday shopping this year, without
the hassle of the malls? Bayonne holiday shoppers get a big
boost in savings, now that their sales tax has been reduced
by half (3%) since many participating locations have joined
Urban Enterprise Zone for the City of Bayonne. And as with
years past, All Municipal Parking Lots are “Free
Parking” the entire month of December.
